Ministry of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation signs an agreement with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the Ministry of Finance to allocate land for the futsal and netball complex. 

Developing a futsal complex and a netball complex are part of the current government's "hafthaa 14" road map. 

On behalf of the sports ministry, minister Abdulla Rafiu signed the agreement, while from the finance ministry, minister Mohamed Shafeeq signed, and on behalf of HDC, managing director Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed signed the agreement. 

Addressing the ceremony, Minister Rafiu highlighted the support and encouragement the sports ministry gets from the government. He thanked his excellency, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, for his unwavering support to fulfill the demands of our sports community. 

The futsal complex will be developed with five pitches and other related amenities. The futsal complex will be developed in Phase 2, while the netball complex will be developed on land available in front of Ghazee School in Phase 1.
