Minister of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation Abdulla Rafiu meets the junior national badminton team, who are set to compete in the regional junior badminton championship. 

Eight players from the Maldives are going to compete in the South Asian Under-17 and Under-15 Regional Junior Championship 2024, which is to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan. 

In this meeting, the minister applauded the efforts of players and parents. He also expressed his warm wishes for the participants to achieve good results in the tournament. 

Badminton Association exco members, parents, and junior national squad players were also present at the meeting.
