The Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation has signed an agreement with Mega Link Private Limited for the development of the L. Fonadhoo Kurimagu Futsal Stadium. The agreement was signed by Deputy Minister Hussain Nihad during a formal meeting held at the Ministry.

The project, valued at MVR 1,559,053, is scheduled to be completed within 38 days. The development of the futsal stadium reflects the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance sports infrastructure and promote active lifestyles across the Maldives.

This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to creating accessible and modern facilities for communities, ensuring greater opportunities for youth engagement in sports and recreation.
