The Minister of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu, attended the grand final of the 90 Plus Gold Cup, a nationwide football tournament open to all islands in the Maldives.

The final match, held with much fanfare, saw Addu City face off against B. Eydhafushi. In a thrilling game, B. Eydhafushi emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, claiming the championship title.

The event’s chief guest was the Honorable Exemplary President, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, who was accompanied by Minister Abdulla Rafiu, other government ministers, high-ranking officials, and parliament members.

President Muizzu presented the championship trophy to the winning team, while the Minister of Sports distributed other awards, recognizing individual and team achievements throughout the tournament.
