Minister of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation Abdulla Rafiu inaugurates Dhiraagu EAFC 2024, Mini-Series 2024.

More than 500 gamers are competing in the three-day extravaganza.

Speaking at the ceremony, the minister highlighted the vital role of Dhiraagu in getting people into sports and staying active. He said that the famous Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race has set the trend for running in the Maldives.

Moreover, the Minister also expressed that tournaments such as this will help develop talented gamers and elevate esports as a professional sport in the country.
