The Ministry of Youth, Sports & Community Empowerment donates pool tables to the 28 islands' existing youth centers.

In a ceremony held at the Maldives Pool Billiard Association, these tables were presented to the appropriate centers. The distinguished parliamentarians from these 28 islands received the pool tables from Minister Ahmed Mahloof of the ministry.

HA. Kelaa, HA. Molhadhoo, HA. Filladhoo, HA. Dhihdhoo, HA. Thakandhoo, SH. Komandhoo, SH. Foakaidhoo, SH. Maaungoodhoo, N. Kendhikulhudhoo, R. Ungoofaaru, K. Maafushi, K. Himmafushi, ADh. Fenfushi, ADh, Dhihdhoo, M. Mulah, M. Dhiggaru, F. Magoodhoo, Th. Thimarafushi, L. Gan, L. Maabaidhoo, Ga. Villingili, Ga. Kolamaafushi, Ga. Dhaandhoo, GDh. Hoandedhdhoo, GDh. Thinadhoo, GDh. Madaveli and S. Hithadhoo are the islands to receive the pool tables.  One more table was handed over to the youth center of Hulhumale as well.

Minister Mahloof spoke after handing the boards and stated that tables are one of the items offered by the government under the possibilities to entertain and improve in sports for everyone. Additionally, he added that the distribution list for pool tables was established after inspecting the locations where they are not yet installed and in response to requests.

As of right now, the ministry is also providing to the islands Kids Park supplies and outdoor exercise equipment.
