The ministry of youth has signed agreements with the contractors to build sports facilities on 17 islands.

A youth and community center will be built at HDh. Vaikaradhoo, as well as agreements to create 8 outdoor volley courts, supply and install turf on 6 islands, build football stadium subbases on 4 islands, and develop turf on 8 other islands.

The outdoor volley court development and construction at HDh. Kurinbee, B. Dharavandhoo, and Lh. Kurendhoo will be handled by Triple 8. The construction of the volley courts at HA. Hoarafushi, HDh. Vaikaradhoo, N. Maafaru, B. Kihaadhoo, and AA. Himandhoo is being handled by Brilliant Company.

Turf for 6 islands will be supplied with the installation by Ameen Construction, the contractor. They are also the company in charge of installing turf in HDh. Neykurendhoo and  M. Mulah. The turf will be installed at AA. Feridhoo, Sh. Feydhoo, N. Lhohi, and N. Landhoo by CoreLine Maldives Pvt Ltd.

The football stadium of Sh. Feydhoo's will have a sub base built by TA. Construction & Trading Pvt. Ltd. The Eliot Investment, the contractor, will complete the sub base work for AA. Feridhoo's stadium. The subbase in the AA. Ukulhas football stadium is being worked on by CMA Five Star, the designated contractor. The stadium's sub-base construction will be handled by R.G. International.

The R.G. International will also finish the construction of the HDh. Vaikaradhoo Youth & Community Center.
